  Besides stress and trauma, the third obstacle to intentionally creating what you want (i.e., a happy life) is negative energy. It doesn’t even have to be your energy. It could be from the people around you. Or it could be in your environment.

   But help is on the way.

   MindBodyGreen provides 7 simple tools to clear negative energy from your space. It includes things like: bathing in salt

water, smudging, ringing bells and wind chimes. These may sound crazy, but they can do wonders, if for no other reason than you’re making your intention known that you want to exist in positive energy, and not negativity.

   RiseEarth offers Free-Your-Spirit Tips on Getting Rid of Negative Energy. They include: cleaning up, meditating, rearranging, opening your windows. Again, these tips accentuate your intention to live in positive energy rather than negativity.

   LifeHack gives you Fourteen Way Positive people Separate Themselves from Negative Energy.  And that includes: avoiding impulse spending, controlling your thoughts, and dealing with negative people.

    TheKarmaCottage suggests performing acts of kindness, getting rid of clutter, and speaking positive affirmations.  

   And last, but, wow, not least, is GreaterGood.Berkeley which educates you about the Gratitude Research. Yes, they’re putting research into practice. And research says gratitude gives people “stronger immune systems and lower blood pressure; higher levels of positive emotions; more joy, optimism, and happiness; acting with more generosity and compassion; and feeling less lonely and isolated. That’s why their goal is to get 6 million people to practice gratitude. What do you think of that!
